Tube Lounge Chair draws inspiration from the Memphis design style that originated in Italy in the 1980’s. A style distinguished for its bold shapes and geometric lines and for celebrating exuberance and playfulness. A contrasting interplay between soft and solid elements, Tube Lounge Chair is an unconventional take on the classic lounge chair. The design features two distinctly oversized glass blasted stainless steel tubes that have been bent in a manner that follows the organic curvature of the comfortably padded seat. Designed with an inherently comfortable seat, Tube is crafted using a plywood frame which is covered with foam, wadding and finally dressed with upholstery in a wide variety of leather or textile options.
