A celebration of materials and form, the asymmetrical Eclipse Desk is based on a hand-drawn line and shaped into a sweeping tabletop with a convex and a concave edge. Polished to a shine, it rests on a sturdy, flat leg, and a round steel column, for a distinctive silhouette that adds a sense of drama to the organic piece. Crafted in solid natural or dark-lacquered oak, the sweeping tabletop is fitted with a lid that lifts to reveal a hidden storage bucket in the metal column leg, ensuring the surface of the desk remains clutter free. Designed to stand alone as a centrepiece in the middle of a room or for placement up against a wall as a more conventional piece of furniture, its intriguing form draws the eye and invites touch.
