Tired Man Chair
Originally designed by Flemming Lassen for The Copenhagen Cabinetmakers Guild Competition in 1935 the Tired Man Chair is characterised by organic, bearlike shapes meant to evoke the warmth and safety of a polar bear cub nestled in the arms of its mother. With its overstuffed volume and inviting curves, the Tired Man invokes domestic cosiness and socialising by candlelight.
